Delete your GTAFriends account

GTAFriends (the app and website at gtafriends.com) lets you permanently delete your account yourself. Only the signed-in account holder can do this — we never delete an account from feedback or third-party requests alone.

Steps to delete your account

1. Sign in to the GTAFriends account you want to remove (Google, Discord, or Apple).
2. On the website: open your profile, go to the Edit tab, and choose Delete account.
3. In the iOS or Android app: open You → Delete account.
4. Type your username to confirm, then confirm deletion. This cannot be undone.

What data is deleted

When you delete your account we remove your GTAFriends profile (including username, handle, bio, avatar, platform preferences), session and reliability history tied to your account, crew memberships associated with you, messages and chat content attributed to your account where technically feasible, Looking now status, and related app data stored for that account. Any active Verified subscription is canceled when possible (store billing records may remain with Apple or Google per their policies).

What may be retained

We may retain limited records required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or dispute resolution (for example, ban or abuse logs) for a reasonable period, typically no longer than needed for those purposes and generally not more than 90 days unless a longer period is required by law. Anonymized or aggregated analytics that cannot identify you may be kept.
